"Share-IT, Computers for Communities"
Ranjana Mitra , founder of Share-IT, will give an overview of E-Waste Management and present her community's solution in which CFUW Burlington has actively been involved.

"Strange Fatality, The Battle of Stoney Creek, 1813"
James E. Elliott, renowned author and journalist will tell the story of one of the most pivotal battles which took place in the Burlington area during the War of 1812, the outcome of which resulted in the birth of Canada!

"The Impact of Toxic Stress on the Developing Brain"
Dr. Jean Clinton, eminent psychiatrist, professor and renowned children's advocate, will discuss the impact of stress in pregnancy through childhood onwards and she will describe key strategies for buffering the brain.

"The World of Arthritis"
Irene Rand, Physiotherapist with the Arthritis Society, will discuss advances in arthritis research and treatment.

"Poverty in Halton"
Joey Edwardh, executive director of Community Development Halton, will present an overview of the current poverty situation, strategies for poverty reduction and future outcomes in our community.

"CFUW Resolutions Night"
Members participate in the national resolutions process by reviewing proposed CFUW resolutions and making recommendations to support, amend or reject them.
